Here is a reprint of my good friend Tuula Rands' impressions of Chapter 5 of Thank And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.  We read and discuss one chapter of the book in our 30 Day Mental Cleanse program.  Thanks Tuula for you brilliant insights.
Chapter 5 – Specialized Knowledge

When I joined Mentoring for Free I expected to learn the skills necessary
on how to promote my company and products.  But what I actually gained
was so much more.  That is not to say learning those skills are not
important.  They are definitely very important.

We go through life and we are influenced by all the things around us and
the opinions of people who we associate with.  We don’t always recognize
our thoughts and our actions have been determined by what we have allowed
to become important in our subconscious mind.

We join Mentoring for Free and we are instructed to join the 30 day
mental Cleanse.   As we proceed through each chapter of Think
and Grow Rich and submit our lessons for each week, we begin
to change our thought process and understand ourselves more
than we have ever done before and we begin to question some of the
things we have taken for granted.  For some, this comes as a shock,
for some a surprise and some are thrilled to eventually understand
why they are like they are and now have the opportunity to change.

We learn to recognize the negativity in our lives and more
important, how to get rid of the negative and replace it with the
positive.

We learn how to put our past behind us where it belongs and
build ourselves up and gain the confidence we need for others
to know, like and trust us.

Learning skills is great but learning how to become a better person is greater.

The most important thing I have gained from being a part of and
participating in this Mentoring for Free System is confidence in
myself and therefore knowing I cannot fail in no matter what I
want to accomplish.

We are the most important part of the product we offer.

Mentoring for Free gives us this very Specialized knowledge.
This is where we learn how To think, not what to think.
